Management Company Excels with Integrated Online Strategy

Overview:
A management consulting company to small businesses with more than a decade of experience was looking to transition their business from a consulting practice to a provider of tools small business owners and trusted advisors to small business owners.
Objective(s)
- Create a platform from which to demonstrate the effectiveness of the product(s).
- Establish credibility and brand recognition to their market.
- Generate leads within the small business owner market.
Solutions:
Used the “hub and spoke” strategy to develop channels from which ongoing content could be created and communicated to a wide audience while showing value, establishing reputation as a thought leader, and generating leads for the consulting business during the transition period.
Created a new standalone blog with social media channels that directed traffic to the blog on an ongoing basis which in-turn directed interested small business owners to the company website where they can purchase products and services to improve business performance and growth potential.
Results:
- Tools are being tested with the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) and Gazelle Labs as tools for use across their entire program.
- Content being read by 450 – 600 monthly visitors to the blog in less than 12 months.
- Company revenue is up nearly 37% during the same 12 month period.
